Jamie displaying special colt training techniques
Velvet shakes "hooves". She is 3 weeks old in these photos.
We have 2 extraordinary fillies so far this year (2010) out of The Right Hand Man (Andy).
This is "The Right to Push Velvet" (Velvet)
Sire: The Right Hand Man
Dam: Blu's Blackwidow
(a grand daughter of The Pusher CG)
Breed: TWHBEA filly foaled May 7, 2010.
Color: Black w/ small star & white back left hoof
Velvet is out of our Deja Blu mare Flicka, who consistantly gives us sane and smooth colts. This is her biggest one to date. She should make 15.3h easy and has got her daddy's temperment. (This means there is NOT a mean bone in her body and she loves attention). She shakes her head and strides in the pasture so she live's up to her excellent bloodlines,(It is my opinion that IN northern Virginia, there is no competition for the natural walking horse talent these girls display).
I am looking for homes where they will be family members with no emphasis placed on "Big Lick". Yes they do have show horse talent but we are just trail riders on this farm so what we care about is natural gaiting ability with no special devices and a head full of sense. We bred for this criteria and we got it!
We handle them daily (cause they ARE going to be BIG) so they will break out easy and be sane trail horses - easy to gait, stay in the gait and have great ground manners.

More of Jamie's colt training talent.
This is "The Right Touch" (Jezebelle)
Sire: The Right Hand Man
Dam: Touch's Blackwidow
(daughter of 1993 *WGC Tenn Walk Horse "The Touch)
Breed: TWHBEA filly foaled May 18, 2010
Color: Black and White
This is our mare Prissy's filly that we call Jezebelle. She is really something to see. Yes she is marked up like a Christmas Tree but she has got muscle and head shaking over striding TALENT. She could be almost as big as her Daddy.. This means she could be a 17h mare. Her Mama, we call her Prissy, is 16.1h and Prissy's mama is 16.2h, so.... this is going to be a very big girl. And very gentle. We love on these girls every day. They get halters put on and led and loved and touched. (We love our job!!).
Please call Melissa at (540)303-0569 and see our www.youtube.com/blackwidowfarm site for moving images of these girls.
